Silent Words

 I can't speak,

Try my hardest

But I can't.


Well there isn't anyone 

that will listen

Not to me at least.


Words are stuck in my throat,

Killing me...

Chocking me...


And you know what 

It's all because of you.


I was never like this before 

Until I met you.


You've changed me,

And I know one thing....


That even these silent words 

shall be unheard by you.

Why is love so painful?

It's fascinating how life can bring immense joy at one point, but as time passes, that same moment can become incredibly painful. You realize that the moment will never return, and you feel powerless to change that fact. It's almost like being in a dream where you know you'll eventually wake up, but in that dream, you find yourself wishing you could stay asleep and never wake up. Love can provide such comfort and beauty, right? You can reflect on those precious moments when life was filled with joy and it seemed like blessings were being bestowed upon you. However, behind that smile, is there nothing else you see? The smile that conceals tears can be incredibly heartbreaking, can't it? I feel so shattered, not because someone broke my heart, but because I feel an overwhelming emptiness. Why does love have to be so painful?
